A few of the Favorites from College Projects

All of these photos bring something new from the table.  Each one of them I have learned something valuable that I will carry with me for the rest of my career.  I cannot thank the Professors at NKU enough for everything they have taught me.

One Photo I am truly proud of.  This is when I started to call myself a Photographer.

A Photo from Documentary class, It has earned awards!

This was a happy accident. The man to the right just happened to be there at the right time. A Fashion shoot for Applied Photo.

While on the topic of Fashion, here are a few from the studio!

One of my favorite shoots while being at NKU, was the time we did creative black and whites in the studio, I chose to do mine on Firefighters.

I was told to use two lights, and here is what happened.

William Coupon lighting, is so beautiful, shooting portraits this way, is truly an art.

Shooting products was a struggle, but once the light was set, it was a simple push of the shutter.

My daughter, She's a pistol.

A Couple of Head shots that I like.

Environmental Portraits are tough. Enough said.

Two Photos from Applied Photo, Skies are very important in Architecture.

Graduation

The main question that College Graduates ask themselves is "What now?"  Meaning what in the world do I do now that I have completed school?  Should you attend school again to further your degree, or to simply get another one?  How about a career?  Well, who knows.  I just graduated this past Saturday and I am pondering some of these questions myself.  Yeah, it is definitely hard to find a career now-a-days.  But with my degree I could start a business, which is in the works.  A friend of mine and I have a business we have been working on, building the name up for two years now called Urban Paradise Photography.  We take photos of all kinds, weddings, families, seniors, sports teams, and many more.  So why start a blog?  Well, I am doing it for myself, here you will find mini projects, major projects, things I find interesting that I think can be shared, and maybe a few things our business is up to every now and then.  So I join you to take a look at the page every once in a while, and tell your friends as well!

Yes, that is me all grown up, with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and an Area of Concentration in Social Work.  The reason for this very degree? It suits me, I have a great passion for photography and I care a great deal for people.
